Spalding Oncology Service
The Spalding Regional Medical Center is accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons as a Community Hospital Cancer Program. The hospital is also accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The following cancer services are offered at Spalding Regional: prevention, early detection, annual screenings, surgical and chemotherapy treatments and education. The multi-disciplinary cancer team has cancer committee and tumor boards which allow the review of cancer cases. Available diagnostic services include: mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, MRI, CT, Ultrasound and nuclear medicine.
