Oncology Center at Tift Regional Medical Center
The Tift Regional Medical Center is accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons as a Community Hospital Cancer Program. The hospital is also accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The cancer care team includes a medical oncologist, two radiation oncologists and a team of nurses. Services at Tift Regional Medical Center include PET/CT Scan, CT Scan, Women's Imaging Center, Mammography, MRI (high-field MRI and open MRI), Support, Education and Counseling. The center also sponsors a cancer support group, facilitated by an oncology social worker, which serves as an open forum for those affected by cancer. The center also offers a cancer resource library, with access to the internet, books, videos, pamphlets, and more to research oncology topics.
