And a message from the President

My number one goal when I took this position in January 2021 was to raise awareness of Georgia CORE and all the great work the organization and its partners have done. This goal was validated after we completed our five-year strategic plan earlier this year. Most of the main objectives in the plan at least touch – or more so, directly focus – on raising our profile through demonstrating our impact. 

So, for 2025, we’re asking for your help in this endeavor. Are there events in your community or at your workplace where Georgia CORE could present what partnerships and innovation have done to improve cancer care in our state? You’ll see in the attached report that together with our stakeholders like you, we’ve accomplished a lot in the last year to impact cancer care in Georgia, and we’re poised to do more if more Georgians know about us. Please let me know how we can raise awareness of the collective work we do with you. 

I’m grateful that my team, our board of directors, and all those who contributed to the strategic planning process agree that we have a great story to tell. We simply need to find those opportunities to tell it better and more often.
