Atira Goodwin joins Georgia CORE as the Research Program Coordinator for the Blood Cancer Trials Network, working to increase access to blood and bone cancer clinical trials for Georgians throughout the state. When she's not taking on this challenge, Atira enjoys being active, relaxing by the water, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines.

With over a decade of experience in healthcare and clinical research, Atira specializes in spearheading initiatives to increase access for underrepresented populations. Her deep commitment to fostering inclusivity and accessibility drives her to integrate her clinical research expertise into creating positive change in healthcare. Previously, Atira was a Health Equity & Clinical Research Solutions Consultant at We Are One Consulting, where she developed strategies to address health disparities and enhance inclusivity in clinical trials. She also held leadership roles at Inato and Javara Inc., where she focused on expanding access to trials for underrepresented populations globally and directed clinical trial operations across multiple sites in Georgia.
 
Atira holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology from Emory University. She is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
